The Week
The Week does not unlock this route: every stop is free to read here. It guides you through it on the day. Across 19 mi of driving, it keeps the nearest stop next, and the map works with no signal. It covers the other 6 routes as well, so the next one costs you nothing extra.
$9 for 7 days · One payment, nothing renews.
Your seven days start in town, when you press Start the day on a paid route or arrive at one of its stops.
The app is on iPhone November 5. The Week is bought inside it, so there is nothing to pay for until then.

It starts at Isle of Palms Pier, Front Beach, Isle of Palms, SC and ends at The Citadel, 171 Moultrie St, Charleston, SC. The stops are ordered so the route does not double back.
About 2h for 6 stops, covering 19 miles. That is measured driving time plus the time each stop is worth, not the drive alone.
The locations, the order and what was filmed at each are free to read on this page. The Week covers carrying the route in the app, which sorts the stops by how far away you are, tells you when you have arrived while it is open, and keeps its map and photographs when there is no signal.
Not all of them are walk-ups. Isle of Palms Pier is private; Fort Moultrie needs a ticket. The rest are public and free to stand at.

A coin shop on lower King Street. Nobody has ever identified which one.
John and his father have the collection valued on King Street, and it is where the older John eventually parts with it. The shop itself has never been pinned down: every guide says "the King Street coin shops" and none of them names a business, so it may have been a dressed storefront that no longer trades. Walk lower King for the look of it and do not expect to find a door.
