Outer Banks
The Morris Island Lighthouse stands offshore at the east end, and is widely named as the Redfield Lighthouse. It is not. Netflix places the Redfield at Hunting Island, in Beaufort, and the scene has the pair walk up to it past a keeper, which nobody can do here: Morris Island is out in the water and reachable only by boat. This is the view, not the location.

- Folly Beach County Park, at the west end, is the reliable car park. Charleston County Parks charge by the vehicle and by the season, and the current rate is posted at the gate.
- Worth knowing
- The lighthouse itself sits offshore and is not reachable on foot. Seeing it up close means a boat.
