A route you drive or walk yourself, in your own car, on your own day.
Kildare is not a real island. It is the crossing, the house on the Ashley that plays Tannyhill, and the run down through Sullivan's and Kiawah.
All of them, free to read. Which one is closest right now? The app sorts them as you go. With The Week ›

Lowndes Grove is an events estate on the Ashley River, which is why it is on this route: it is not somebody's house, and it is booked most weekends for a wedding.

The Week
The Week does not unlock this route: every stop is free to read here. It guides you through it on the day. Across 76 mi of driving, it keeps the nearest stop next, and the map works with no signal. It covers the other 6 routes as well, so the next one costs you nothing extra.
$9 for 7 days · One payment, nothing renews.
Your seven days start in town, when you press Start the day on a paid route or arrive at one of its stops.
The app is on iPhone November 5. The Week is bought inside it, so there is nothing to pay for until then.

It starts at Ravenel Bridge, Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Charleston, SC and ends at Seabrook Island Beach Club, Seabrook Island, SC. The stops are ordered so the route does not double back.
About 4h 30m for 8 stops, covering 76 miles. That is measured driving time plus the time each stop is worth, not the drive alone.
The locations, the order and what was filmed at each are free to read on this page. The Week covers carrying the route in the app, which sorts the stops by how far away you are, tells you when you have arrived while it is open, and keeps its map and photographs when there is no signal.
Not all of them are walk-ups. Kiawah Island is private. The rest are public and free to stand at.

The Morris Island Lighthouse stands offshore at the east end, and is widely named as the Redfield Lighthouse. It is not. Netflix places the Redfield at Hunting Island, in Beaufort, and the scene has the pair walk up to it past a keeper, which nobody can do here: Morris Island is out in the water and reachable only by boat. This is the view, not the location.

The scene
The Island Club, where the Kooks hold Midsummers.
The Kooks' Midsummers party, the night the Pogues work a shift serving them, is Kiawah Island Golf Resort. The Ocean Course carries Rafe's golf scenes. The island is residential and gated, so the resort itself is not somewhere you can drive up to.

The scene
Where JJ works the summer job and loses it. The island is gated.
Season two. JJ serves Kooks at the Island Inn, hears Topper's friends talking about Peterkin, and is fired for the scuffle that follows. It was filmed at the Seabrook Island Beach Club. Seabrook Island is a private gated community: this is a location you can watch on screen and not visit, and it is listed so nobody drives an hour to find that out at a gatehouse.
